The network
Three manufacturers making panels today, six more on the way
New Frameworks built the first straw panels in the country, then went looking for people to build them with. Rare Forms and Building Integrity picked it up, and the three of them founded the Collaborative together. A new cohort has joined every year since.

What every manufacturer holds in common
Independent manufacturers, one set of terms. Whichever member makes your panels, they work to the same six commitments — and that is what makes this a network rather than a directory.
- We refuse the trade-off between low carbon and high performance.
- We build to the drawing, exactly.
- We treat the trades as skilled work, and pay accordingly.
- We buy from farms and mills close to the shop.
- We teach the method, because it was taught to us.
- What one manufacturer learns, every manufacturer gets.
Regional specifics stay with each manufacturer. For pricing, lead times, and local availability, we’ll put you in touch with the manufacturer nearest your site.
